F.A.Q:
- Please let the artist know beforehand if you are pregnant, have diabetes, or have any other medical concerns.
- Come hydrated - a light meal before your session can help prevent fainting.
- It's always polite to leave a tip!
Please Refrain From the Following Activities During Your Tattoo Session:
- Arriving intoxicated or hungover - alcohol can cause your body to bleed excessively, even when consumed 24 hours beforehand.
- Taking aspirin or any other type of blood thinner, such as caffeine.
- Using any lotion on the tattoo area before or after the session.
- Arriving with damaged skin - make sure you have not previously aggravated the skin around the area you would like to get tattooed.
- Touching your tattoo during the session, for sanitary reasons.
Tattoo Aftercare:
- Make sure to wash your hands thoroughly before washing your tattoo.
- After 3 hours, remove the bandage gently. Wash with warm water and soap, then gently pat dry with a towel. Do not re-bandage.
- It's okay to shower, but do not take a bath until it’s healed.
- Stay out of direct sunlight and tanning booths until the tattoo is healed (at least 7–10 days).
- Do not soak your tattoo in a tub, sauna, or jacuzzi, or go swimming while your tattoo is healing.
- It is strongly advised to avoid A&D Ointment, Vaseline, or any fragranced lotion.
- Do not rub or pick the treated area while it is healing - especially without washing your hands first, as this could result in loss of ink color or infection.
- Do not drink alcohol or take aspirin for 24 hours.
- It is normal for your tattoo to scab and flake about 7 days after your session.
- Your tattoo should heal within 2-3 weeks.
