Question:   Does getting a tattoo hurt ? Answer:  Yes, but to what extent depends on many things. Tattoo placement, as well as your tolerance to pain, are among the many variables.  Some say it's like a burning sensation.  Others say it's a mild irritation. Question:    Is it clean and sterile ? Answer:   All needles, tools and equipment that will come into contact with you are sterilized.  The tattooing area is cleansed after each patron with an antibacterial cleanser. New needles, ink cups etc. are used for each patron. I wear a pair of new latex gloves for each patron and all items are disposed of properly in order to maintain, not only the legally required sanitary conditions, but to assure you of the cleanest possible conditions while receiving your tattoo.  Once you leave the studio, it is incumbent upon you to follow directions carefully during the healing stages in order to avoid any infections.  This is not difficult, common sense stuff, it simply requires a little care on your part.  You will be given complete instructions as well as our phone number if you have any questions. Question:   What are your rates? Answer:   Our rates vary depending on the time involved, the variety of work and inks, size, placement, whether or not it is our art, your own or a customized job that requires some pre-tattooing artwork etc.  I think you'll find our rates competitive with other studios in the area.  Charges have ranged from as low as $50.00 while some large mural type tattoo's that take sometimes months or even years to complete can cost run up over a thousand dollars.  Your best bet is to call or drop by for an estimate. Large customized projects that require alot of pre-tattoo work on our part may require a small non-refundable deposit. Question:   What about custom work? Answer:   YES! We have a large selection of artwork to choose from, but we always advise our clients to customize, at least a little. Choose something that means something special to you personally. The more unique, the more likely you are to enjoy it for the rest of your life. You can bring in your own art or your ideas and we will help you design something special - just for you!
